hey guys at 600pm mountain time today(tuesday march 26) the sports channell (TSN) in Canada ran a dog show for 3 hours.

what kind of a sport is that. this network also runs the american national spelling bee every year.

ya what great athletes able to turn a dictionary page faster than a superfoot wallace kick to the head

does anyone else think this is silly or am i loosing and and going postal for no reason

this is the same network that says it does not have time to show more kickboxing and boxing or ufc fights because it needs to show canadian content. Hey tsn get a grip most people who watch tsn do not relax by watching fufu dog with lard butt owners run laps around a gym

start showing real sports or change your name to TSN (the suck*** network)

sorry folks had to get that off my chest

feeling better now

Hate to tell you this but, dog shows do have a loyal following. They do attract a lot of viewers.

Dogs are cool but I don't like watching dog shows. Who could make themselves stay up while watching a spelling bee. I prefer watching and doing MA anyday.

Obviously they have to fill air time with something and really it all boils down to moola$$$$ .... how much the network has to dish out or fork in .... The program director of the network chooses what to air based on many objectives including actual viewer appeal... hmm, what does that say about Canadian television viewers ... you just may be part of the minority.

the CRTC requires all canadian television stations and radio stations to play a good percentage of canadian content (CANCON)

but mike miles muay thai takes place in calgary therefore that is classified as CANCON so why are they scrapping it for a dog show?

i think the boxing commisions are paying off sports channels so they wont program kickboxing/muay thai..........its all about the $$$$$$$

Dog shows can sometimes be boring..
I want to see dark dogs. tough looking dogs.
I wont get bored by seeing that, by seeing a dog like a baby fluffy one, Thats boring.
