What moves could be used easily against some one who does not grapple to finish it fast?
Takedowns : double leg , single leg...clinching , locking his leg and push ?
on the ground : frontal mataleon ? armbars ? kimura ? _________________ ´´ The evil may win a round , but not the fight ´´ |

For people that have no grappling experience (including wrestling) I can usually do anything I want. Usually a sit-over sweep to the mount (they usually turn their back) and I get em with rear naked choke.
Wrestlers don't sweep quite as easily. Usually I submit them from guard with armbar or triangle. Often they give up their back and I get the rear naked choke.
So just about any takedown standing
Armbar, Triangle, Guillotine Kimura, sit over sweep, scissor sweep and so on.... _________________ "When you come to a fork in the road, take it."

This is coming from my personal experience, but if it were me, fighting me, I would just take me down and attempt to mount the beatdown. I don't ground fight well, and a simple takedown can take away a good striker's abilities. Once you take them down, and can maintain some form of control over them, that should be a huge advantage to you. _________________ Success is where preparation meets opportunity.

High clinch to hip throw. On concrete that will incapacitate most folks. _________________ If my survival means your total destruction, then so be it. |

I think that the double and single leg takedowns are probably easiest to pull off...then just pass the guard, or mount if you landed in side control. Remember with the double leg and single leg that you need to keep running through your opponent...natural instinct to defend is to sprawl. If you do that, you should be golden, since non grapplers have a hard time defending against grappling attacks. _________________ Wolverine

| If they have no knowledge of ground work take this time to use stuff that you don't normally get to use. omoplata, gogoplata, ect. It's your chosing if they don't grapple. |

Double, single, maybe osoto gari or another throw for the take down. For submissions a kimura or armbar would suffice I think. RNC also get the job done since usually if you have the experience once you get their back they are done. _________________ Don't hit at all if it is honorably possible to avoid hitting; but never hit soft.

| By definition just about every basic move you're going to attempt against a non grappler is going to work, simply due to the fact that said person doesnt even have the knowledge to defend whichever particular technique you're attempting. |

If you are skilled at takedowns, then perhaps feining like you are "puffing up" and stand tall, then drop fast to takedown, that can throw them off, because they will most likely "puff up" with you, making themselves taller and more vulnerable to the takedown. _________________ Success is where preparation meets opportunity.
