Hello everyone,
I've posted some new videos. Here's a link to one that teaches you how to escape from the backmount.
I'll give this disclaimer however...if you let an opponent get to this position, you've made a big mistake already. That is to say that no technique is 100% effective. So this should not be your main way to defend someone taking your back. It should be defended long before this. But if you get here...here's a possibility.

Here's a good video of Pedro Sauer talking about the philosophy of becoming good at Jiujitsu. He's a 7th degree under Helio and Rickson Gracie.

Good words on using the tap, and on focusing on rolling for a while, and not short bursts. _________________ Success is where preparation meets opportunity.

He's living proof of a guy who took that advice to heart. Professor Sauer is an amazing martial artist. _________________ "When you come to a fork in the road, take it."

Here's a new vid with some very basic techniques. But they are fundamental to BJJ. My instructor, Tony Rinaldi, is teaching here.

I watched the first vid, with the fundamentals. I'll get to the others when I have more time. Good stuff, so far. Your instructor does a really solid job of explaining things, ps1. Thanks for sharing these again. _________________ Success is where preparation meets opportunity.
