Okay for those of u who watch a anime called bleach own Adult swim own saturday nights, i have just got me a zompocto sword. I recieved Ichigo's second sword ( the big black meat clever looking one, with some rap around the handle for grip) Plus it is a real sword and just as big as the one from the T.V. show to. ( 5,0 ft exactly, the handles four feet by itself.) i absolutly love it, not to mention it is made from stainless combat steel and is sharp as heck!!! which is why when it came through fedex today and my mom saw how sharp it was she orignaly wanted me to give it away, ( and for those of u who are fans of the series and know what i am talkin bout thats like a fate worse then death) but after sever compromise, i can keep it aslong as i keep it at my Kungfu academy with my Sifu , own account of we have little space for something so big, and if one of my cousins gets ahold of they might kill eachother , if not for those to reasons she would not care.

so i was just wandering dose anyone else have any bleach zampoctos aswell?

That would be cool to have. I don't have any of those. The swords I do have is the one wielded by Nathan from the Last Samurai, and Bill's Sword from Kill Bill.

Whats "Stainless Combat Steel" ?

My son practices Iaido and his blades have to be carbon steel. Even for Tameshigiri. Sensei will not allow stainless steel blades in the Dojo because they can break unexpectedly. There is a famous shopping chanel video where the guy is showing off a fake Katana, hits the table with it, it breaks and the flying piece stabs him in the leg.

Nope. My art is Korean, so I have a Korean style sword. Razor sharp, but only about 2.5-3.0 ft long.

I know the sword your speaking of, but aside from the novilty of having it I can't see the benefit. Ichigo is able to wield it because of his training and "spirit" energy. But a sword made properly in the real world and that big, would weigh a lot!! How much does yours weigh?

If there is any truth to the "real" origins, a zanbatou was a horse slaying sword, designed to take down a horse and rider.

Yes, but it was made more like a naginata or other polearm. A two handed long pole weapon.
