That was just funny looked like he was losing anyway and that is just insulting. _________________ “I fear not the man who has practiced 10,000 kicks once, but I fear the man who has practiced one kick 10,000 times.”

That would be one way to by-pass the up kicks that I hadn't seen before.
Throwdown, I've got to ask. What exactally was "uncalled for" in the clip linked? Other than a head first dive to pass the man's legs, what should he have done? _________________ "No one ever drowned in sweat"-Marine maxum |

I would tend to agree. Although it was flashy, the flip did allow him to clear his opponent's legs safely, putting him in a superior position to finish the fight. _________________ Success is where preparation meets opportunity.

I guess the difference is although it was flashy and all that if it works then it doesnt matter what a technique is like. Its all about function over aesthetics. _________________ “I fear not the man who has practiced 10,000 kicks once, but I fear the man who has practiced one kick 10,000 times.”

I believe the flip was not needed.. but, what can you do... and a mount would have done sufficient though without the acrobatics.. but thats just me, I have never really been into the MMA thing... _________________ You must become more than just a man in the mind of your opponent. -Henri Ducard |
