Yeah, I see your point. My message was worded poorly. I try to stay as balanced as possible. I know kicking puts me off balance, but I meant that I dont want to be any more off balance than absolutely necessary. I should have said that it puts me really off balance. Not just people in general. I have much better balance with other kicking methods.

Generally I cross my legs, but sometimes I don't, particularly in defense drills. Of course something that's fun to do is step in and cross your legs, then throw a backfist strike, tends to confuse people.

yeh i do cross my legs when doin side kicks i dont see how you can if you are like lundgeing *cant spell*
