In that exercise you maintain contact with your opponent and follow their movements or try to uproot them with a correct application of timing and energy. If you stop and think what to do next, you've already lost. |

Most definately..
When I have hesitated I have ended up missing or getting hit myself.
When I just act with what feels right, I have caused some serious damage to the other person.
