What is your favorite kata and why? I'm going to wait awhile to see what others say before I disclose my personal favorite.

Thats a tough one to answer i like so many kata but i guess i would have to say that shisochin and chinto are the 2 that i really concentrate on right now . but i love all of the ones i know they are all very important in different asspects. The reason is they are from different parts of thinking naha te and tomari/shuri te , but both have very unique bunkai .

Seienchin is my favorite kata. I like it because it is so strong, and done well, looks impressive. It's also physically quite demanding.
I also like annanku and rohai. Although I don't think that many styles do annanku. |

Hey I do ananku too. It is kind of a fun kata. I like the slide steps. I like the change of pace movements too.

Seianchin and Rohai. I like Bassai Dai as well, but the first two are my favourite. As well as Seipai!

When I was studying Shotokan, my favorite kata was Nijushiho. |
