Bishop, yeah I didn't like the page much 'cause it has 'enrol now!' & one of the comments mentions someone losing 40lbs, so they're trying to appeal emotively to a lot of people. I dunno, it would depend on the prices I guess. I didn't see a link to how much prices were on the site.
jiu jitsu deals with taking your opponent to the ground & finishing them there using chokes & locks. You realise that don't you ?
Dojo is the right term for jiu jitsu, dojo stands for dojang. The most important thing I believe you should look for in a dojo is students who are proficient. The students reflect the quality of the dojo and instructor. Also, an atmospwhere where the students help each other, i.e, no competition. A little friendly compeition is healthy, but not students who won't teach techniques to others, etc..
Instructors, IMO, should be a friend as well, not just an instructor for a set time & that's it. You need to be able to trust them & ask questions.
