An old man was sitting on the pier fishing by himself, when a younger man spotted him.
"Do you mind if I fish with you" the young man said
"Not at all I'd enjoy the company"said the old man
they began laughing and talking and having a good time. All the sudden on the road behind the pier a funeral procession went by.
The old man stood up, took his hat off, and lowered his head until the procession passed.
"Wow, that was very nice thing to do" said the young man
then the old man said "Well we were married for 30 yrs."
