Aikido is for everyone, the only advice I can give is to work hard.
Take Care |

boxing is awesome, i feel you have to practice some sort of striking art.
i had my second aikido class today, it was really good, and we mainly worked arm bars and one take down. I gotta find some sort of slippery surface to put ion the bottom of my artificial foot cause its made uf rubber and it sticks to the mat witch doesn't allow me to pivot on it. |

i hate to tell you but if you're looking for "street fighting skills" or whatever aikido probably isn't the way for you. i'm not saying that it isn't fun or effective or whatever but you sound like a guy who wants to kick and punch, aikido is a purly defensive martial art i would suggest something like tai boxing...that's just my advice
but then again...who am i? |
