Hey I thought this was funny hope you do too;
In class one day when we were doing punches to the count. As a good way for us to get a grasp on counting in Japanese my sensei gets the class to take turns of counting. Half way down the line a little boy got a bit carried away and started counting in French and then the next time in Spanish lol made me laugh anyway!!.
Well this got me thinking of kids in classes and I know that when I was young I used to get carried away when doing Mokusoh resulting in someone having to tap me to tell me to stop only to open my eyes to find a class that has been waiting for ages for me to stop lol
Anyone else got any stories to share? |

haha yes i hav had the same problem when i was younger, doing Mokusoh and gettin a little to relaxed. Another funny thing tht happend was we did some kumite with the lights off in total darkness, just juho, and when the lights came back on, a few people had different partners unlike when they bowd in! _________________ Osu |

yeah the kids are always getting into something. Its hilarious. There was this one time when this new little white belt just starting kiyaing (is that even a real word? ) right there in class and we werent even doing anything at that moment. It was funny. He was just yelling for no apparent reason other than I guess he might have though it was cool or something. |

Haha, little kids can be quite funny (if they're not making us all do 100 pushups and situps for not lining up right). One time a little kids peed his pants because he was too afraid of sensei to ask to go to the bathroom. What I like is seeing them spar. It can be quite amusing. _________________ External training without the training of the mind is nothing |

Last night in training one of the kids let off wind. It was only a small class (4 of us), me being the only adult. The other two kids laughed their heads off, and here's me standing there trying to keep a straight face. The poor little guy got told off from sensei, he said next time ask to go to the toilet hehehehe _________________ Walk away and your always a winner. www.shikata-shotokan.co.uk |

I occasionally like to break wind while sparring, just to see if I can get my opponent to wrinkle his nose!!! _________________ Success is where preparation meets opportunity.
