| What is the difference between a Muay Thai ring and a San Shou ring and why does it make such a big difference? |

Of course the Chinese media will twist the facts to make it look like Kung Fu is superior. The media is a huge influence. Why don't you ask to see a taping of the event and then draw your conclusions.

A San Shou ring doesn't have ropes. One of the ways to win is to force your opponent off. It adds a Sumo aspect to the game.
