I only believe that LIFE reveals the true character of someone and nothing else. But then again Karate is a part of life.

| Some students are not interested in building character or gaining wisdom. A grandmasters words would fly over their heads like Jacky Chan, who by the way was probably the only reason they joined a dojo in the first place. |

that's probably where the difference between ancient and modern practitioners. ancient people are so devoted into training that karate is the way of life. nowadays, some people learn it just cause they wanna kick someones' butt
