Did anyone get to watch this fight?
I didn't, but I did hear that it went the 12 rounds, with Mayweather coming out the victor by SD.
I was pulling for The Golden Boy, because I have always liked him. However, Mayweather has proven himself very well. _________________ Success is where preparation meets opportunity.

Nope, but I read about it. I like Goldenboy out of both of them though-he seems like a decent guy. Mayweather though...
regardless, it seemed like a pretty even match that really could have gone either way. _________________ Don't hit at all if it is honorably possible to avoid hitting; but never hit soft.

They are going to air it Sat. nite. I heard it was very close and they are already talking re-match.
Thanks,

It turned out to be a quality fight, so a re-match would probably be a good idea. With the revenue that it brought in, I am not surprised they want to air a re-match. _________________ Success is where preparation meets opportunity.

I saw the fight. De La Hoya was attacking most of the time and did innitiate contact. Mayweather fought a very cautious and (I might add) boring fight never using more than one or two punches at a time. I agree with Mayweather's father, Oscar should have won because he's the one who went forward all the time and tried something.
p.s. I did win $ 20 on a bet! |

| Yeah it was a good fight, They both looked good, but Mayweather didnt attack much, thats true. I was really impressed when Folyd or Delahoya on the ropes...amazing hand speed and body shots. |
