| One night in class I learned a new takedown against someone grabbing my shoulder from the side. Well I grabbed the guy's leg and pulled up and did the takedown, but he held onto me. When he broke his fall, his knee came up just as my face came down. His knee smashed my nose straight on and instantly my nose started bleeding. Later he told me that he heard a loud pop and moved right away cuz he knew I'd start bleeding onto him. Anyway, I went into the bathroom and after a while got it to stop bleeding, luckily it was only 10-15 minutes until class was over so after I got home I put ice on it. I never did find out if my nose was broken, but it looked a little crooked and I got a yellow bruise a few days later and it was tender for a while. What a macho way to break a bone in martial arts eh hahaha |
