If you look at the edges you'll notice the second one takes up slighty more space then the first _________________ Rule #1: Play the game to the limit. Damn the consequences. |

man u guys r smart one of the hypotenuses is convex while the other one is concave. it makes it look like it'd be a triangle but it isnt. the one take about so much space more than the other one that exactly one of the square can be left out. i myself didnt get it by first look and i guess u were even faster than i was but i guess not everyone could have figured it out! that it has to be some kind of illusion was clear from the beginning, but that wasnt enough
actually its sad that u two got it so fast - i hoped some more would participate |

It made more sense with increased coffee consumption. And also holding a straight edge up to my monitor. _________________ It's happy hour somewhere in the world. |

Very true! It can be a humbling experience to be knowledgeable of stochastic calculus and multivariable optimisation only to be stumped by a high-school geometry question..
Sorta like a 3rd Dan getting a black eye from a 3rd kyu, i guess.. _________________ Keep Smiling! |

Whoa there, Valithor. Your choice of vocabulary is burning my cerebral cortex. I've only had a half cup of coffee so far today, so take it easy on me. _________________ It's happy hour somewhere in the world. |

Diminutionally consuming thermogenic beverages amid erudite edification plausibly effectuate vagrant coordination consequentially inducing epidermal and sub-cranial burning, however deleterious cerebral repercussion requires splendiferous disingenuousness.
Hope you've had some coffee _________________ Keep Smiling! |
