I believe the "Tulen" at the end indicates Barbara Nigell's branch of the Wetzel system. I can't tell you anything about that. I do have John Malterer's tapes and can tell you they are well worth the money. It might take 4-6 weeks to get them after you order but it's worth the wait. |

I have a colleague that is a black belt in the Poekoaln Tjimindie Tulen style and swears by it as good all around MA.
One Poekoelan school I found in my area calls it Schwinnfall(sp?) Tjimindie instead. The instructor told me it is Poekoaln, but due to politics & a falling out with their original school they called it by another name to avoid problems. I've watched them train though, different name aside, these guys a good & lethal. |
