If I ever get a black belt, I am going to go for the silver. I saw it once and it really looked nice against the black.

Deoends sometimes it is , all depends on the style. I like gold.

I never really considered it until I saw it at Judo- it's very subtle yet striking at the same time. Gold is nice, but I prefer something a bit more unique yet not gaudy.

| After I get a quality gi I plan on looking into getting an embrodired belt that is something I promised myself long before I got my black belt. I just haven't gotten around to it yet as the cash flow has slowed down in the past year since my son came along. |

yes, silver is very nice, i have seen it a few times, and it looks great on tsd master's belts but i've only seen one done that way.
