| The fundamental thing to remember is to not let go of the opponents arm, wrist, whatever during or after the throw has been performed. You don't have to keep a death grip on it, but instead just enough to execute the move and retain control. That will lead up to a nice lock when the person hits the floor. And then something as simple as pushing the back of their hand down to their elbow (palm of hand facing floor and forearm perpendicular to floor) is enough to maintain control with one hand while you strike with the other. Performing armbars after the person hits the floor is another easy techinique, but no matter what you decide to use, don't let go of the person during or after the throw. |
