I don't think Jeet Kune Do has a technique at all. It's a martial arts philosophy about simplistic training, training as an individual, and creating a style fit for the individual. A Jeet Kune Do artist won't always say that they know Jeet Kune Do. I've seen a lot of them say "My style of Jeet Kune Do..." That's how you know they understand it on a good level. _________________ There is little honor in going down. The BB of C is off to a good start. JKD was put together using a set of fighting principles based off of some things from Western Boxing, Fencing prinicples, and Wing Chun, originally. Along the way, there have been different concepts and ideas added; read Tao of Jeet Kune Do to get a really good understanding of what Bruce Lee was trying to do.
Many of todays JKD practitioners have made various additions to their training, by doing things like Kali/Arnis along with their concepts, and adding in ground fighting to their practice and the like. _________________ Success is where preparation meets opportunity.

Exactly because JKD is a bit hard to define, what you can find at different JKD gyms can be wildly different. There isn't really a standardize curriculum. _________________ Don't hit at all if it is honorably possible to avoid hitting; but never hit soft.
