Release date April 2003

Iam so looking forward to this film!
A shaolin kung-fu practitioner is seeking a way to spread the word about his chosen art. He meets a down-on-his-luck lame ex-football player who trains him and his five brothers to play football. They form a team, and are soon entered in a prestigious tournament with a 1 million dollar prize.

This is the best trailer for this film that is out there....(this is the one you see in the theaters!

The official Hong Kong site is here and the quality of the trailer is not so good.

I've seen it a thousand times and it's still funny

I've had this for at least a year now, I'm confused?

ANyway, they are not brothers in the bioligical sense. They are brothers in the Gong Fu sense.
When a master takes on his disciples, they becaome brothers.
Usually the student that has been there the longest is the oldest brother, regardless of age.

It's a great movie! I recommend everyone see it. It's famous in China, and will be in North America as soon as the English version is out. I guess that must be what you are talking about.

Ok, I watched the trailer.

They changed some things!
I hope that don't add all those sound effects that they had in the trailer to the actual movie! It's ruining it!
And when the guy gets his clothes ripped off, he is still wearing underwear. That's funny, if the blast had enough power to rip alll his clothes his undies should have went too. They must be super shaolin underwear!

I already picked out some bad translations, and it was just the trailer!

Oh well, what can you do? I guess they thought Americans need stupid sound effects to enjoy their movies, and that people can't see someon's butt. You'll be scarred for life.

Yes that was what I was talking about.
Disney has the rights to this movie now and when Disney does release it here in the states, you can expect that the original HK version will be butchered and neutered (just look at Jet Li's domestically-released movies). Also Stephen Chow in fact uses his own voice to the dubbed version and the over used "everybody was kung-fu fighting" song was used in the NA version.

I think I may just order the DVD to have to full version with subtitles ... worth the 13.98 it is selling for!
