Has anyone tried the Strength Training Gyro Exerciser? Is is some kind of gadget. It is in the shape of a ball, you put this pull cord in it, pull it out to make it start the inside moving, and then you hold it, and it supposed to help your grip get stronger. Ok it sounds to good to be true, but just wondering. Thanks. _________________ Jay Johnson |

Loren W. Christensen's book Solo Training 2 has some good exercises in it on strengthening your grip. _________________ Success is where preparation meets opportunity.

One that I liked was holding to barbell plates together for a specified period of time. He also had an exercise where he drilled a hole in a baseball, put string through it, and hung a weight on the end, and would hold and swing it. _________________ Success is where preparation meets opportunity.

That sounds like an accident waiting to happen! You better have a strong string! _________________ If you think only of hitting, springing, striking or touching the enemy, you will not be able actually to cut him. You must thoroughly research this. - Musashi |

You don't swing it violently. It is more of a swaying motion, back and forth at 45 degrees each way. Sorry, I should have clarified that better. _________________ Success is where preparation meets opportunity.
