I train with a skilled greco roman wrestler that has used it in his MMA fights. Not my cup of tea however. _________________ "When you come to a fork in the road, take it."

I have always loved watching a great suplex. I really think that this throw/slam is a thing of beauty. _________________ Success is where preparation meets opportunity.

I remember seeing Dan Severen pull TWO off in his second fight of the night during UFC 4...fight lasted like a minute...he knocked the guy out with the second suplex. Was unreal...almost looked like a pro wrestling match. _________________ Wolverine

I have seen Cung Le do some pretty mean suplexes, too. That guy is a takedown and throwing machine. _________________ Success is where preparation meets opportunity.

I Love suplex...But I find them VERY difficult -for me - to apply them in MMA and in plain grappling....
I connected a frontal suplex once ...but with a very light dude.... _________________ ´´ The evil may win a round , but not the fight ´´ |

| The one from Grapplers Quest showed great exicution of not only the belly to back but also in holding position to take the back and sink the rear naked choke. Great clips by the way. |

A good suplex will require some flexibility of the back to get the really good technique. You have to arch your back pretty good. _________________ Success is where preparation meets opportunity.
