I saw this video clip from Morphues. It takes place in Finland, two "white" guy fighting. The Tae Kwon do guy is Red belt, and this some Thia guy, well TKW guy gets his * kicked. After wathcing me, my self, me, Song Jae Won.. Who was really ****ing mad. OMG that stupoid ***ing white TWD guy, he can't fight ****, always doing high kicks, tsk.. trsk.. i been doing TAE Kwon do for over 13 Years. I was born in Korea, came to AMerica when iw as 10. Start TWD when i was 4 Years old. ALso it wan't a fair fight because TWD is scoreing points, not for take-down. But if i were him i would Throw, or punch, and low kic. Not some stupid gay *, unbalened kicks. Well that ****ing white guy ****ing embrassed Tae Kwon do. that *****, he should go to hell. better take that ***ing uniform. Dae gae, Je su op suh! Gae Sekki.

TKD1985, I've seen that video too and I agree basically, he should have been trying with more hand strikes and low kicks, and he did seem to not represent TKD very well. But still, the "white boy" stuff isn't really welcomes here, and "he should go to hell" no way. Chill out man, it was an embarrasment but its not the end of the world.

Take care
Jack

I have seen that video. Of course, this clip isn't a very good illustration of either style, it being in what, Finland? Was it just me, or did the fight seem too constricted by rules? They were both obviously ignoring the head, and both left it wide open...

The Taekwondo guy had no confidence. It's ashame and the Tae Kwon Do guy is only a red belt. If you wanna show off at least find a black belt or something, or get the red belt guy to wear a black belt. Mass Oyama did not prove the superiority of his Karate style by fighting some red belt. He went to Thailand and knocked out all Thai fighters facing him. The only guy he admits to losing was a Chinese Tai Chi master. Who knows about the Thai guy's experience but he obviesly showed more skill. Not only that but he had a size advantage, and basically bullied his way into intimidating the guy. That being said, they both were quite bad.

They're ok for a laugh but you couldn't possibly take any of those fights seriously.....unless you were the guy who was getting tossed out the ring of course.

I have never seen the video, damn my 56k modem. However, there was an article on the kicks of Taekwondo vs. Thai in BlackBelt Magazine. They compared the two stlye, showing the weakness and strong points. Great article. Forgot what it said though, been a while.

I saw that fight. It was horrible for both of them. The TKD guy barely did ne thing and the Muay Thai guy did the ugliest lookin kicks ever. I nearly fell over tryin to do them. Plus wats wit the lack of head punching? They were both really horrible.
