| I may consider getting a yin/yang tatto on one of my shoulders in later life, but I definitely do not want one yet, and in the near future. |

Well, I KNOW that Im getting a tattoo. Ive got them planned out as well! hehe
Left bicep- Dragon
Right bicep- Cross
Left shoulder blade- this symbol I designed for my love of music
Right shoulder blade- this symbol I designed for my love of martial arts
Spine- A Chinese straight sword going down it
Back of neck- Bar Code
If my band gets popular and all, then I might get the band name or symbol tattooed somewhere. It'll be at least 5 years or so before I get any of these so I know that I actually want them and Im done growing (Im 15). Also, for anyone who thinks they want a tattoo, but have doubts, I would suggest getting a henna tattoo to see if ya like it. They last about 3 weeks to a month if cared for properly. Ive had a lot of those done. Well, that would work, unless your doubt was a fear of needles, lo. Henna tats are put on in a paste and the dye soaks into ur skin.

My husband has my name on his forearm ... still
25 years ago .... he called me from California to tell me he was going to have it done ....thing was he had done it already! I was flattered actually Funny thing was the buddy he went with also had a girlfriend with the same name. The tattoo artist thought it was the same girl and almost didn't do it!

i would probably get a fake one, which lasts for about 6 months - probably a ring of spikes or loops around my tricep |

YODA,
yeh.. I think 15 inch biceps will look good enough on its own!
I know a guy after 10 years in his MA got a tat of his style when he got his black belt .. can't think of what it's called
the symbol thing, you know ?

Similar to a couple others, I contemplated a yin/yang type on my shoulder, but never followed through. Never felt that strong about it.
A word of caution to all those that plan to go. Make sure you go to a "clean" establishment. Talk to the owner, and make sure they sterilize ALL their equipment thoroughly. You can catch a lot of baaad stuff out there if they don't run a clean establishment. |

more than i can count, at least 20
just a by product of a mispent youth, but still i don't regret them, same with the piercings, though i only have my tongue still pierced.
Don't get a tatoo unless you expressing something from within yourself, permanent fashion is not a good idea becasue fashions change.
I have always found fashion a silly exercise, in general one should not do anything becasue of fashion, but be true to yourself, if you want to do something do it, but do it proud and don't be whiney about it.

I would like to get a corss/crucifix on my right shoulder and a tiger or the chinese symbol for the tiger on my left arm. OUCH! But hopefully worth it.
