I think meditation is useful, but I don't know that it is important. I have never meditated, really, so I can't offer much on it. _________________ Success is where preparation meets opportunity.

for me, meditation is like a general life enhancer. it makes everything a bit easier and more fulfilling, including MA, and it helps you get rid of distracting thoughts and desires. _________________ "Gently return to the simple physical sensation of the breath. | We can't really tell you that - it's an individual thing. For me, it wasn't. I'm a laid back personality anyway, so I don't get stressed out, and don't have a problem focusing. Meditation in class never did much for me. the meditation we did at the end of yoga never did anything for me either, though I got a lot of benefit from the yoga itself. |

Meditation is a process of realisation. For some, it's the key to happiness, for others, it's virtually useless. It all depends on your outlook on life and your current situation.
More to the point.... what do YOU think? _________________ The mind is like a parachute, it only works when it's open. |

I personally dont think meditation is important because I think it is just a state of mind you can get doing everything. |

| For me meditation is a way of dealing with stress. It is a way of trying to keep my focus. How important it is can only be defined by the personal benefits you may get from it. For me personally I feel it has become important in life and sense martial arts are a part of my life it is an important part of my martial arts. |
