And what does this have to do with Combative Martial Arts?

That's the kind of question I find extremely annoying...........It's like someone saying "My Martial Arts are real yours are not"

Chuck Norris, Don "The Dragon" Wilson and Joe Lewis ??? I think they more than justify a mention.............You would be as well asking what's winning the Taekwondo or the Shotokan World Championship got to do with combative MA.........In fact what has any MA at club level got to do with a real combat situation?

Are we saying that if Jet Li for example hadn't taken up Thai Boxing instead of Wushu he would have been any less a champion or if big Segal had taken up kick boxing he would have been useless at it ?..........these MA may make movies but it was their unquestionable abilities that got them into the movies in the first place.

I don't know who you are are what style you practice but if Bruce Lee had ever stood in front of you I reckon he would be glad to have shown you what he had to do with CMA The easiest thing in the world to do is to knock someone elses art.

I reckon these guys have as much right to a mention as any other MA perhaps even more........being able to kick box or win a few full contact competitions isn't the be all and end all of MA..........E.G. How many great Karate, Kung Fu or Kick Boxing fighters took on the Gracies in their prime and came out on top? We had European chamion of this, the World Champion of that and yet..............a big fat Zero success rate........that's how easy it is to knock us bro.........we can break bricks, do one finger press ups.........hell we can kill a guy with one finger ( Haven't seen that in 30 years of MA but I heard about it A LOT Rotflamo!!!) but somehow little Royce Gracie knocked all comers on their butts..........So we are as as open to knocks as Jeane Claude Van Damme is or even David Carradine for that matter.
