I'm sure they could do plenty of damage. You can generate a lot of force with the twirling motions. _________________ Success is where preparation meets opportunity.

damage... lots and lots of damage. I've read that they can produce that much force, but you only get that much out of the eight or so strikes you can do, not with the twirling that the 'chucks are famous for. _________________ There's no place like 127.0.0.1 |

i always heard that it was 1600 lbs of force, and that they can easily break cinder blocks in the hands of a skilled user. The main thing to worry about when using nunchuku is the kick back that you receive directly after you strike your target. So you definitely need to know how to wield the weapon if you want to use them in a real life situation with out inflicting harm upon yourself. _________________ That which does not destroy me will only make me stronger |

The Crazy tricks you can do with a nunchaku can intimidate a street fighter, they lose their focus and pay attention to fear of pain, then that way you can beat him if you control with his own fear , you may get hurt while practicing the Nunchaku, but "we only learn to pick ourselves up if we fall" (Quote from Batman Begins) _________________ A drop of sweat spent in practice is a drop of blood saved in a battle.

Yea, or he'll just stab, shoot, or surprise you. Or club you. Or his buddy will tackle you. Oh, you get the idea. _________________ Why's it called a signature if all I can do is type it? |

A few months ago I was playing around with some foam nunchaku when i smashed the lightbulb. I was not expecting it and was very surprised although my friend said it looked very cool.
So im guessing it generates alot of power but then again couldnt any weapon or hard object damage the human body with probably a greater effect? _________________ "The indomitable spirit always prevails, unless he has empty stomach" |
