first weapon I started was the chucks but didn't get far with them, so got a pair of sai instead...much better:D gotta get used to the chambering with them though... haven't had them long already drawn blood with them.. but that was my mates fault!! _________________ wind can break a strong tree but it can't break a tiny stem of a wild grass , it bends and it stands up again. |

First of all you need someone to train with otherwise you wont get anywhere, i think that the stick or bo staft is a great way to start off with , then wen you become better you can upgrade to a more advanced weapon. _________________ I think that there is no 1 style , and that to truly become a great martial artist and person you must take information from where ever you can. |

I agree.
Sticks (canes) / staff are the best places to start. _________________ "We did not inherit this earth from our parents.

Yeah sticks and staff are good to start off with and are easy to find. Also because anybody can use a knife/sword lethally. _________________ Teach me something =P |

| Something practical. Knife and/or club (like a hanbo or escraima style). |
