I have done it only a few times but, it does work, but you gotta do it fast cause the opponent is going to be moving and wiggling like crazy!

It's the same with any lock.

Well I'll tell you a secret. The next time you do on armbar control the wrist and they can't turn their arm to escape.

Let's not call it a wrist lock for the sake of discussion, but a wrist control. The wrist control will come in handy even with a resisting opponent.

Very true! Don't tell anyone though...it's a trade secret!

true, but it makes it slightly harder cause you are trying to perform the armbar also why doing the wrist "control"...

I know what you mean when you got a limb isolated, but when you first start out weather kneeling or standing, doing a tradional Japense Wrist lock or throw is difficult to do. I see of Roy Harris doing them, I think his student Roy Dean, how ever I don't see it common at all. Its something that has to be developed for awhile. Thats why I say they aren't high percentage to me, I really don't want to spend the time on those types of locks.

I've been doing them for over six years so they come pretty easy. The more locks you know the better.
