With all of the other things in the news I almost forgot about the Winter Olymics. What are everyones favorite events to watch?

I like to watch freestyle skiing.
When They first started to do flips in the middle of jumps I thought wow. Can you imaging doing a flip with skis on.

Without a doubt...curling. The skills, physical and mental toughness that these people possess are beyond my realm of reasoning.
Oops, I really meant hockey. And this is who is going to win, in order: Canada, Russia, Sweden. |

LOL
I had an interesting run in with curling. I was in Canada for a project, along with a bunch of other Yanks, and we went out after work for some drinks. Well, I don't remeber what the season of curling is, but the championships were going on the same time as I think the NHL or NBA playoffs. Jeez, we couldn't find a screen that didn't have those maids trying to clear the way for that over-sized shuffle board puck!
No offense, I know its popular up there, but it was just kind of funny for us at the time. |
