I want to take up a different martial art but i'm not sure which one to do. I have studied kung fu for about 3-4 years but i feel that the place i'm learning it at is turning into a Mcdojo, especially after they got that new instuctor in to replace Doug. This instructor who will remain nameless, can't even do a proper scissor splits. And his displin is laughable and many of the students are starting to slack.

Two ways to go.

One is take something close to what you do already to the learning curve is less.

Two take somethign completely differant and start from scratch.

The second choice sounds better but once most of us have trained for a long time its hard to redevelope our style of thinking and techinques.
