Which one do you relate to more, calmness or being hyper?

Calmness does induce clearer thinking, which reduces unnecessary panic and confusion.

Hyperness can provide effective explosive energy; which can also waste valuable energy.

Or perhaps you have your "Keep calm and carry on" all figured out?

I'm not a hyper person, nor do I really consider myself "high-energy." But I wouldn't say that I'm calm all the time, either. I'm pretty laid back, but have been known to get amped up at times, too.

Calm by nature and explosive if needed.

To quote a great Rage Against The Machine song...

I’m calm like a bomb.

I try to wait until it’s time. The older I get, and the more experienced I get, the better I get at wait for that right moment.

I wish I knew what that was.

Thanks. I know it's uncharacteristic for me not to write a novel.

You and I can be the very model of writing...ahem...novels; we seem to share that trait.

You are the very model of two novel-writing gentlemen
You share information martial, cultural, and spiritual.
You know senseis of England, and you quote the fights historical
From China to Okinawa, in order categorical.

I am silly by nature, serious if needed.

I'm learning this more and more as I get older, especially with young adults in the room that I have to spar with. They are just too fast and athletic for me try to play keep-up with them. So find myself blocking a lot more, moving when needed, and throwing strikes that will land.
