I was reading the newspaper over weekend and saw a day workshop on Tai Chi that David Carradine was conducting (lunch included! <IMG SRC="/karateforums/forums/images/smiles/icon_biggrin.gif"> ) Unfortunately it started like that day about 2 hrs. after I read about it! I thought it would have been pretty cool to have gone to it. I wish more workshops like these were offered!
...actually Kung Fu was one of my fav TV shows as a kid (the 70's!)...I think that instilled the desire to practice a martial art.

The first Time I saw David Carridine on "KUNG FU" I was so overwhelmed by the Shaolin Monks...
So is that why I shaved my head?......lol jk
Doesnt David C. have a brother who also is a Martial Artist?

He does have a younger brother Keith who is also an actor...I don't think he is in martial arts tho'.

i'm also a "KUNG FU" fan..so much. that i acually own the series from columbia house...  ...some good actors got there start in the series.....like jodi foster and don johnson.

I watched "KUNG FU" last night and I was looking at David Carradine and thinking what a man of passion. When he talks you can feel his passion. I would love to be his son. He has to be the coolest father ever on a TV show.
What do ya'll think?

I wasn't aware that you can purchase the series....I'm a member of Columbia House so I'll check it out! Hey GoldDragon...is it on tv? If so when?? I know you're in CT so I'll be able to check it out then!
Hey...I just got BillyJack on dvd at Walmart the other day!!!

David C. is a joke. The only reason they picked him for Kung Fu is because Asians were unheard of on TV. Let alone have their own TV show! David C. was just a regular actor before, then he started to talk like he was Asian and now he is a "master" BAH!  |
