Hi Guys,
I am a coach as some of you know and I am just starting out. I need all the criticism I can get atm because then I can focus on the weak points of my coaching and develop them into my strong points.
I would love to hear from all coaches or instructors out there and what your methods are If you wouldn't mind letting them out.
Its not that I want to steal them or anything.I am just wanting to hear from you.

Thanx a lot
Anthony

When you coach, try to think that you are helping a white belt at first. As you get to know them, then you can change how you teach. The point I am trying to get across is that you should never assume that the athlete knows as much as you do. You should never, however, patronize them in anyway. Plus, always have a first aid kit around. I can't stress this enough, be certified and have a first aid kit.

I am a part time instructor at my dojo and I teach the class with firmness or they will not pay attention. I will tell them that I am helping them. After class I will sometimes play a karate related game. My students give me respect and I teach them well.
