Hi! I've never been to (or been in) a tae kwon do tournement before. How do the judges evaluate a form if say a yellow belt and a blue belt are in the same branch of the touney. What if one person is doing the simplest form of traditional tae kwon do, Chon-Ji (i think) and another does onefrom a studio that uses a form like Pinan 1? Help me! I must know! Thanks very much have a nice day...

Different ranks are judged seperately so a yellow belt wont be competing with a blue belt nor a blue vs a black. As far as what forms are allowed, thats up to the tournament officials. Chon-Ji is ITF, right? I'm WTF so the forms that are allowed are the Taeguks (1- and now the Palgwe forms (1-. Other types of forms such as Chong bong are usually used in the creative/non-traditional form category. That's been my experience so far...and welcome to this club!
