I'm a keen martial artist. I practise Wing Chun, Thai Boxing and Boxing.
I want to know, why in the Wing Chun organisation can't I join the Fight Club tournaments.
I know that it's meant to be for self-defense, and shouldn't be seen as a sport. But Wing Tsun (WT) are allowed to take part in Fight Club i.e. challenging someone of the same grade as you to a fight - although you wear headguards and all the rest!
What politics is behind Wing Chun practitioners not being allowed to have fight club? Or is it just my Wing Chun organisation? (which is run my Master James Sinclair- who incidently use to have fight club fights himself, against other martial arts!!!)
