Any body know where I can find free instructions on making a hakama?
Anyone ever made one in the past?
My Sensei told me I have come to the point where I can wear a hakama
But traditional Ninjitsu says Everything You use in Ninjitsu must be made and since my sensei was trained by descendants of Iga Ryu Ninja and sticks to traditional beliefs. Therefore, the only way I can take pleasure in the privilege and honor of wearing one I must make it.
Please help... Thank you! |

WOW, thats a big task. I have no idea, most Aikidoka have embraced modern mass production methods.
Ninjutsu is an amazing style. Just an idea but is there a website that you could email? Perhaps you Shidoshi could tell you of some. |

Maybe if you go into a dressmaking shop, show them a picture of a hakama and ask if they could explain to you how you could go about making one yourself. _________________ Smile. It makes people wonder what you've been up to. |

making your own hakama, now that's dedication. I sent my gi to the dry cleaners to have a patch sewn on. |
