Okay, I have been studying MA for almost three years and am training for my blackbelt now. I study Shotokan. Can anyone tell me how to find tournaments in my area that I can compete in?
Ous,

Do you have a local martial arts supply store near you? If so, they usually carry all the flyers of local tourneys and the surrounding areas. Also if you pick up any MA magazines they're listings of tourneys and seminars. |

No Ma stores in these here parts. LOL. There is a sports gear shop... uh, Decathalon, I think? It's a french company, less expensive than olympia. Can't find that many MA zines here either. Any other ideas? _________________ Dee C.

... and as yellowsnow suggested, ask your instructor/dojo owner. They are usually put on a mailing list for such events (whether they want to be or not). |
