I don't see any problem with this thread. At the end of the day, I judge what is offensive. Nothing here yet.

Oh and Sai, I figured this would be a place to get your attention, so please check your Private Messages.

Thank you.

um...taezee pullleeeze, weren't you the one who requested the joke telling Okay maybe this post was placed in the wrong forum ... but take a look at all the other "entertaining" threads. ALOT of which do not even pertain to MA. At least this is a topic I have personally seen cover in many other MA sites (those of course that at least offer women a place to voice their concerns & opinions)
Now c'mon ... being a standup comedian I feel is much more entertaining than say .... an advice column .... and purely the question was asking advice seeking the commaraderie of the female members.
thanks Patrick really I don't think it was mean't to be offensive or to offend ... unless you personally take it to be in which case keep moving on to the next thread.

We all wear white gis so I have to be very careful. To squick the guys here I had been having a problem with heavy periods and flooding but fortunately I've got things medicated and under control now.
To go onto a slightly related and another squicky female problem. My friend would like to do karate with me but after having four kids suffers dreadfully from stress incontinence and because of that daren't come to the class. I know she's tried all the exercises they recommend and stuff. Is there anyone here who relates to that?

No problem Jiggy others have made the same mistake. I find that much of the time in the world of cyber karate the state of ones gender is irrelevant. Until someone starts a thread like this one.

There are times in class when for whatever reason individuals (of both sexes) get things (body fluids) on their gi's. It is just a fact of life. And usually an indicator of a persons ability to handle stress with humor. Some times things are embarrassing, funny, and deadly serious all at the same time.

I do stay in contact with a womens karate club online. And from time to time I may bring things in here for comments. (I also relay comments from here to them and encouraged and posted links to this site.) I think the new world of cyber karate is great. We can share information, and even humor with all sorts of people.

Sometimes it is really hard to tell what will help someone else out. Equally, it is hard to tell what will offend someone.
