So i'm wondering, for those who've trained in both styles, has kyokushin helped up your muay thai game any? I've thought about picking it up, to improve my striking...just wondering if anyone has any thoughts if they compliment each other or if i'm wasting time?

This is going to seem like a cop out but it's going to be as useful as you make it. I can see a lot of ways where Kyokushin would compliment Muay Thai and a lot of ways where it might become a detriment. It all comes down to your ability to find out which concepts would help and which ones would be more detrimental.

I would think that Muay Thai probably has the striking thing down pretty well, but that's just me. You could probably pick up some different kicking aspects from Kyokushin, but each teacher has different things to offer.
