You'll find that usually happens in competitions. Some referees are quite strange, and thats the reason I dont referee yet (I only arbitrate  )
Just try not to take it so personally - it happens

I only referee if I am head referee. I have the agressiveness to stop a fight and make decisions and force others to make a call.

At times I let my students referee me....lol
Its so cute!
They will say, " Outta bounce Sensi !!" ...lol

Kids are like that. The only reason I am not in the kids class is because I was starting to accidentely hit them and injure them. That is why I don't hang out with younger kids. Too fragile.

I know how you feel.I have before entered a competition hoping to win a prize.But the best thing of all is that you turned up.You will still have many,many more oppertunities to win medals or even trophies that come past your knee.Don't worry.Hey,now you have something else to work for.
