does anybody the place they go to train in kickboxing sometimes learn stuff like Muay Thai a bit or a little cause we do a lot and i was wondering if learning kness and elbows in kickboxing is up to your trainer or just okay to learn and whats your oponion on this??

Ehm we do the same, but the kickboxing club I'm in cross-training in lots of things, as we're lucky enough to have various blackbelts in various styles training with us. Is great cause we cover everything from Thai to Boxing, Kickboxing, Traditional, Forms, Continuos, Points, GRappling, Total Fighting. It's then up to you what you want to concentrate on.

yes we are lucky but the good thing about it is you learn more moves and you get faster and better

in our kickboxing classes our instructor sometimes uses examples of the way a thai boxer gets their hips into their kick so we can get more power into our body kicks

The new school I joined last week we practice nothing but Muay Thai and western boxing, he also has a brazilian jiujitsu class but I'm not taking that till the summer
