Hey all---
Sure we all have differnt stlyes of defense, katas, and weapons in training, but who all in here has a favorite song you like to practice with?
I love to practice to Brazilain Music ( for my Capoeria) and also slow Oriental instrumentals with the high flute in the background as I do my defensive moves in slow motion....how about you?

I put on some UK DJ hard house fat bass tunes for weights and cardio, I like Rage Against the Machine for gettin' all angry on a bag or whatever. I have to have music when training alone. |

BLINK 182 for getting me pumped before a fight. I play it over and over again.

Eye of the Tiger is a great warm up tune. I also have to go with some of the Jock Jams and some of the Pantera , Rammstien, and Metallica songs.

When I practice the sounds of a sitar are always calming but before that big fight I always listen to Linkin Park: In the End

I was doing weights to their album once (I dont like them anymore) and it just said "I tried so hard, and got so far, but in the end it doesn't even matter" I mean, how good is that for a motivational tune to keep you going? lol
Personally I have different music for different things. I like have some good punk rock for the warmup and when I'm on the bike, and when pumping iron or shadow boxing/bag punching I'll have something like RATM, Lostprophets, or Adema blaring out loud If I'm performing my patterns then I'll have some of the slower oriental music like Golddragon said... amazing how nice it feels, having these relaxing oriental tunes playing as you perform the pattern/form/kata.
