In the UK the BBC have a program called Masters of Combat in which different teams of marital artists do challenges and tasks and at the end they spar conts. untiil some one gets all the steps to "enlightenment"
any one else watch it

Yeah Its cool.Love the taekwondo team which were on the second episode.I love the Wushu guy with the swrod.He was rough.

I do...i find it entertaining as a program but very very disrespectrul as a martial art display. There isnt a lot of respect between teams as there should be and the desire to win is their fuel for the fight. In my opinion this isnt the way it should be. The participants heads are inflated, well a lot of them anyway.

have you seen that big sweaty guy that hits the bong he was holding up to corecte handles and this chinese guys was kicking his back a nd chest but he never moved if i was him id be a bit P***ed off!

and also theres that anyong chinese guy that talks about nothing during the fight ?????werid

That was the most insulting martial arts programme i have ever seen , it was hilariously crap!!! If i heard the word "enlightenment" one more time i think i would have smashed my tv!!

i think maybe the more "enlightened" karate forum peeps should start our own team. "the shotokan net nerds!!!" as alot of you have said the program is disrespectful to the martial arts world. im sure we could show them a lesson or two!
