Awesome thank you guys!
Even though I am late to the party. I was thinking about the time I signed up here. I remember during those times I was obsessed with sparring and combat. Over time I saw the negative effects of combat training and the positive effects of being more martial arts which is embedded in longevity and quality in life. It amazing, Karate became tamed because the folks from the past were getting injured. Now we see the cycle of safe, sensible practice being incorporated in various combat sports form. That's what makes traditional martial arts amazing. They are the way they are because of an evolution that took place in the past.
I thank all of you for all the conversation and I of course look forward to making replying to more threads. _________________ It begins with the knowledge that the severity of a strikes impact is amplified by a smaller surface area. |
