I started martial arts to control my anger. In my opinion, there are generally three reasons for learning martial arts.

#1 Anger management. (My reason)
#2 Self defense. (Best reason)
#3 Your parents are making you. (Worst reason)

I can't stand when they try to take things away that are only dangerous when people don't know what they are doing. People get hurt. Because of stupidity of either their own or someone else's.

Can't they make full contact jiu jitsu tournaments or something, so that they would do mma, but under different name and slightly different rules?
