First learn the basics and after a few classes you can try to spar
Or just go spar and get your butt kicked
It's your choice

I doubt you'll spar for a few months, let alone in your first class..

I have recently started kickboxing and I have also done about 2 years of karate. I am 14 and the best tips I can give you is to do circuit raing at the gym to build up strengh, fitness(cardio vascular) and enduranece. The other is to be tough. I'll be honest with you kickboxing is not for *****s, If you want to do i you have to be pretty hard otherwise your not goona like when you get really hard with kicks and punches flighing at your face, also go with your own partner that is similar size to you, I got put with this massive adult and that hurt!! |
