Operation London Bridges!!

Queen Elizabeth II, who reigned over the U.K. for 70 years, dies at 96. Her family was at her bedside. Charles is now King Charles III.

My sincerest prayers and condolences to her family as well as to the people of the U.K. this sad and mournful time.

RIP Queen Elizabeth II!!

I must admit i have felt a little sorry for her family. She was their mother/grandmother/great-grandmother and Charles and her children have had to follow her coffin around the country as part of a variety of ceremonial duties and to allow people to pay their respects.

Can't help thinking that it won't be easy to do that. Granted it comes with the role (so to speak) but still doesn't make it easy.
